Muralhas De Monção Vinho Verde 2016, Vinho Verde D.O.C., Portugal: The 2016 vintage of the Muralhas De Monção is made from the iconic grape Alvarinho along with Trajadura in the Vinho Verde region of northern Portugal. Refreshing white wine with distinctive white grapefruit and white pepper notes. No oak. Crisp, clean and pure with a laser-like focus and intensity. Good aperitif, but better companion to seafood and salads. Vinho Verde food pairings: grilled calamari, steamed mussels, stuffed squid.
