White and green melon in this lovely vibrant Niagara Sauvignon Blanc. Love the lime citrus notes, not much grassy action here though lots of mouth-watering acidity for vegetarian dishes and shellfish. Lemon and gooseberry on this zesty, zingy white wine. Medium-bodied and refreshing.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: vegetarian dishes, shellfish, green salads.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This crowd friendly expression of Niagara Sauvignon Blanc bursts with sweet nectar, exotic fruit, yellow apple and a hint of lemongrass, making it super attractive to those looking for a fresh and fruity white wine. With only 240 cases produced, this low production wine from one of Niagara's impressive boutique wineries, Featherstone, is a great wine to pick up and enjoy this summer and fall with salads, spicy Asian dishes, or grilled fish cakes with fruit chutney. Tasted August 2018. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Featherstone's Sauvignon Blanc 2017 is a zesty, dry and mouth-watering made-for-food Sauv. Blanc with lime-lemon zest, gooseberry and lemon curd texture and flavours on the palate. Pair with green salads and grilled seafood. - Community Wine Reviews
