Another gorgeous vintage for this benchmark Australian red wine. This red wine is savoury, dark and delicious with chary, toasty oak and black fruit. Full-bodied and smooth with loads of sensory pleasure and made by one of Australia's most respected producers. Pair this wine with a pepper steak.

Shiraz Grenache food pairings: gourmet burgers, grilled rack of lamb, rare roast beef.

Reviews and Ratings

d'Arenberg D'arry's Original 2014 is great value under $20. This vintage is as terrific as the previous vintage, full-bodied with savoury spice and ripe black fruit flavours on the palate. Nice blend of Grenache and Shiraz. Very approachable now and so easy to enjoy. Drink now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
