From the Aconcagua Valley in Chile, the 2016 vintage of the Arboleda is a single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc. Dry with mouth-watering acidity this zesty, dry, light herb and lemon SB is refreshing and perfect to cut through rich, creamy dishes like Coquille St. Jacques. A terrific herbal, lime fresh Chilean Sauvignon Blanc! Great mouth-watering acidity for seafood, shellfish and fresh salads. Crisp and dry. Perfect as a chilled aperitif too.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: grilled prawns, calamari, pan-fried panfish.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

The grapes for this bright and elegant Sauvignon Blanc grow amidst a cool Maritime climate in the Chilhué vineyard in the Aconcagua Valley, Chile. There are alluring aromas and flavors zesty lime and pungent lemon with a fresh herbal undertone dancing on the palate. The acidity is fabulous with great lingering flavors of ripe citrus intertwined with a hint of freshly cut grass. Delicious!
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted June 24 2018. Colour pale straw plus. Legs medium. Aromas and flavours of gooseberry, lemon, lime citrus, green herbs. Taste dry, fruity citrus and refreshing, light body, mouthwatering, medium alcohol. Nice medium to long finish. I like this wine. Great Sauvignon Blanc flavours. Easy to drink, we just nibbled on some white cheddar and creamy cheeses and crackers. Highly recommended.
Costa Arboleda 2016 is a single-vineyard crisp and dry Sauvignon Blanc from the Aconcagua Costa wine region in Chile. Look for light herbs, lime zest flavours on the palate. This Sauv Blanc was fermented in stainless steel, with 10% whole clusters pressed and fermented and matured in French barrel. - Community Wine Reviews
