Rich and full-bodied with black cherry and black olive aromas and flavours. Juicy and supple. This robust French red wine is a blend of mostly Syrah and with some Mourvèdre grapes. The grapes are sourced from the northern edge of the appellation. The 2013 Costières De Nimes JT was aged in oak barrels. Pair with grilled meats and rich meat sauces.

Food pairings: cheese pizza, filet mignon, pork tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

Château De Nages Jt 2014 is a full-bodied and dry red blend of 95% Syrah and 5% Grenache from the Costières De Nîmes and produced by Famille Gassier. Look for black cherry and smoked meat and dried herb flavours full on the mid-palate, smooth and delicious. Drink now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
