This wine is produced from Gamay grapes that grow on vines planted on a hillside with roots thrust down into pink granite soils. The tannins are fairly smooth. Tart cherry fruit and mouth-watering acidity. Medium-bodied and smooth. Straightforward and tasty. Pair with poultry.

Food pairings: cold chicken sandwiches, beet salad and goat cheese, grilled flat iron steak.
