Natalie's Score: 93/100 A gorgeous Champagne, with frothy mousse and persistent bubble. Aromas of brioche, golden apple and toast. Long, refreshing finish. Pair with shellfish. This sparkling wine is all about elegance and celebration. You'll find delicate notes of white stone fruit like peach and nectarine, hints of freshly baked bread, and a lovely citrus brightness that dances on your palate with those persistent, fine bubbles. I'd pair this with:
butter-basted roasted turkey with golden, crackling skin that releases aromatic steam when you carve it, the meat tender and juicy beneath its herb-flecked exterior.
chilled oysters on the half shell nestled in crushed ice, their briny liquor glistening, with a squeeze of fresh lemon that mingles with the ocean's essence.
aged parmesan shards broken into craggy pieces, their crystalline texture providing satisfying crunch and deep, nutty umami that amplifies the champagne's complexity.

I think this will appeal to most palates (except those who prefer bone-dry sparklers). While not the most complex Champagne offering out there, in my opinion it's a great QPR bubbly - which means you don't have to wait for a special occasion to crack the Champagne!

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows: Tasted Jan. 26th 2018 in Aruba with good friends. The colour pale gold, the bubbles mesmerizing and medium sized. Aromas and flavours of citrus, (we are drinking this outside with a stiff breeze) chilled to around 5C, Taste, dry, mousse, mouthwatering, and easy to drink. A very elegant drink. So refreshing and pairs well with our assortment of cheese. Lucky for us it was on sale. Glad we bought it. Special occasion wine!
