Red Wine

Thorn-Clarke Shotfire Quartage 2016, Barossa Valley, South Australia, Australia: From South Australia's Barossa Valley, Thorn Clarke's Shotfire Quartage (2016) is robust, full of ripe black fruit, tannins and announces its arrival. It's a very big wine that needs meat --the rarer the better. A full-bodied blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, petit Verdot and merlot grapes. Food pairings: grilled sirloin steak with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables, vine leaves stuffed with minced sirloin and baked in tomato sauce. Drink: 2019 - 2023 24091 14% D 750 mL $22.95 Score: 92/100. October 2019. Top Rated Red Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart

Sparkling Wine

Graham Beck Méthode Cap Classique Brut Rosé Pinot Noir Chardonnay, Western Cape W.O., South Africa: Full-bodied, toasty and crisp with lots of Pinot Noir goodness in this zesty bubbly. Lovely cherry and strawberry notes and clean, crisp finish. Graham Beck is a master of sparkling wines, in my opinion, these are his best. Highly recommended. Perfect for planked salmon. Pinot Noir Chardonnay food pairings: planked salmon, shellfish, foie gras, pasta with cheese-based sauce. Drink: 2018 - 2020 175588 12% XD 750 mL $19.95 Score: 90/100. October 2019. Best Value Sparkling Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
