Consistently great vintage after vintage. A trustworthy go-to on any restaurant list. Fresh, crisp and zesty. Aromas of lime and lemongrass. Pair with shellfish.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: seafood pasta in creamy sauce, tempura vegetables, pan-fried panfish.

Reviews and Ratings

Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This lovely Sauvignon Blanc, made from grapes grown entirely in New Zealand’s Atwater’s Valley, entices with aromas of ripe stone fruit and fresh cut grass. Medium bodied with lots of concentrated citrus flavours. Great paired with an Asparagus and Shrimp Stir Fry. Tasted May 9, 2019 at New Zealand Wine Pure Discovery.
Craig Haynes WSET 3 for wine rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Prepare for enticing waves of chamomile, orange peel, sweet nectarine, fresh cut grass and crushed stone. Medium bodied and intensely aromatic, this sauvignon blanc delivers a delightful crisp finish.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
