Fever-Tree Club Soda: Fever-Tree Club Soda, United Kingdom is a crisp, ultra-pure mixer that delivers a clean, mineral-driven profile with delicate effervescence and a whisper of citrus. It’s bone-dry, feather-light in body, and naturally alcohol-free, offering a refreshing lift whether sipped solo or starring in a cocktail. Serve it ice cold, straight from the fridge or poured over fresh cubes for maximum sparkle. Fascinating fact: Co-founders Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow scoured the globe for the world’s best spring water and highest-quality carbonation—because as they famously say, “If ¾ of your drink is the mixer, mix with the best.” Fever-Tree has won more Drinks International awards for best mixer than any other brand, and yes, that includes the one you used to steal from your parents’ pantry. Pair it with a cucumber and mint mocktail—it’ll bring the same satisfaction as a spritz, minus the nap. Or serve it with smoked salmon canapés, where the soda’s clarity and bubbles act like a palate reset between bites of rich, salty goodness. Adamo Red Head Pinot Noir 2021, Mono, Ontario: If you love the elegance of Burgundy, this Ontario Pinot will charm you. The Adamo Estate Pinot Noir is made from 100% estate grapes sustainably grown in the exciting, new region of Mono, Ontario, nestled in the Hockley Valley just 45 minutes north of Toronto. The Adamo Pinot offers the same silky texture as Burgundy but with richer notes of fresh cherries and berries. Try this with wild mushroom risotto, roast duck glazed with cherry sauce. The bonus is that this wine, like the others here today, is a fraction of the cost of wines from the comparison regions. Those wines charge premiums because they’ve been in the market a few centuries ahead of us. But the quality of these Canadian wines is equal to, and I as I mentioned previously, better than, the traditional wines in many cases.
