This Rhône-style blend of 65% Shiraz, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot opens with a fragrant swirl of green bell pepper, bitter dark chocolate, chili heat and earthy root-spice aromas. On the palate, gentle tannins weave a savory thread beneath waves of forest-fruit compote and warm baking spice, delivering a Euro-lean poise that never overpowers its juicy red-berry core. Try it with a grilled New York striploin, fennel-spiced grilled sausages, a rustic charcuterie platter, or pizza topped with nduja and provolone or roasted eggplant lasagne.

Food pairings: grilled New York strip loin, barbecued ribs in sauce, braised pork shanks, strong cheeses, Margherita pizza.
