Fleshy cherry and dark spice with a long, naughty finish on this California Pinot Noir. Medium-bodied and satin smooth like lingerie. A supple red wine with cherry-berry mouth-filling wonder and flavours. Just enough oak for hedonists. Layered yet not heavy. This pinot has been one of my favourites for years. Satin seduction in a glass. Pair with roasted turkey or chicken.

Terrific Turkey Wine

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Another great wine from a well known producer - La Crema. Bright cherry, raspberry, spice and a hint of oak. Elegance and sophistication all wrapped into a delicate bundle with a lingering spicy cherry finish.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A glistening pale ruby colour with garnet reflections and an engaging bouquet of red fruit. Cherry, strawberry, spice, smoke and earthy forest underbrush. Flavours are bright with raspberry coulis, cinnamon and touches of leafy greens. Some heat spice lingering. High acidity that rounds out beautifully with light silky tannins and medium bodied finish. Pair with smoked salmon and game hen. Drink now or age 2+ yrs. - tasted March 2018
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Along the Pacific coastline, situated in the Russian River Valley, La Crema Estate offers a succulent Pinot Noir. I had the oppurtunity to taste and discover La Crema Pinot Noir 2015. Aromas of fresh ripe raspberry, luscious red apple, a touch of mint and a light finish of sandalwood will make you anxious to taste this wine. The palate confirms the freshness of raspberry, red apple, some vegetal notes, mint and coffee. Lively with a good level of alchool, this Pinot Noir will pair well with Thai fusion food. Cheers!

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Aromatic raspberry, red cherry and fleshy pomegranate. Yum! The palate is divinely smooth with a well-balanced juicy acidity and a long tart cherry finish. Enjoy this medium-bodied Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir with Frito Pie, braised beef ravioli or bbq pulled pork sliders. Tasted March 2018 by @sommsosa
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Big, tart, tangy, medium bodied, and mouthwatering acidity. Medium minus tannins, medium alcohol. Persistence of juicy ripe raspberry, baking spices with a medium finish. Well balanced and integrated. Paired well with organic lentil and beef chili with guacamole and aged cheddar. Tasted 2015 vintage in March 2018. 91 points
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Love this. Elegant in its simplicity. The purity of fruit speaks for itself. Clearly delineated black cherry with just a hint of plum. A spice note on the finish. There are no hard edges to this wine. 91 Points.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Cherry, strawberry and smoke notes on the nose with pronounced cherry and some vanilla flavor on the palate. Tasted March 2018.
Nicole Lewis rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Violets, cherries, a whiff of toasted marshmellow greet the nose and pave the way for an experience of ripe cherry, cranberry, white pepper and a touch of smoke on the palate. A medium-bodied beauty with moderate acidity and a long finish that would pair well with veal scallopini. Also pairs well with ash rind soft cheeses.

Luc Delorme rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A bit of sweetness and earthiness on the nose, with some complex red fruit, earthiness and smokiness on the palate. Nicely balanced, with some soft tannins and medium acidity. A bit on the sweet side for a Pinot, the finish is pleasantly butterscotch.

A Great new world Pinot that will please drinkers that find French Pinot too earthy and musty.
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ruby in colour with aromas of cherry, raspberry, leather, baking spice and a hint of oak. It is medium bodied with light tannins and medium acidity with flavours of tart cherry, red fruit and some spice. This will pair nicely with poultry dishes. Tasted on March 11, 2018.
Simon Chen rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

On the nose, it smells candy and bright black fruits but surprisingly on the palate, it's not overly sweet. Nice acid and dryness on the finish. Will go well with cherry sauce duck breast or light stew.
Eamonn Donnelly reviewed this wine as follows:

Plenty of red fruit in La Crema's Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. Pronounced aromas of wild strawberry, cherry and raspberry coulis, vanilla, sweet spice and wisps of cedar smoke. The wine is dry with high acidity, medium tannins and a medium + finish. Lingering notes of cherry liquorice, anise and vanilla. Very approachable.
La Crema 2015 is a powerful Pinot Noir from Sonoma County with ripe dark cherries, red berries and a long, dark cherry finish. Tannins are grippy but should mellow out with time. - Community Wine Reviews
