Full of character and freshness, Chateau Tronquoy-Lalande 2011 is a real fighter. The 2011 vintage was a hard one and numerous challenges were faced during the road to vinification. Located on the Left Bank of the lovely region of Saint-Estèphe, Chateau Tronquoy-Lalande provides a classic Bordeaux blend with attitude. Its bouquet offers black cherry, black currant, menthol, charcoal, spice and cedar. Made from 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot and 11% Petit Verdot, this medium-bodied wine shows undertones of tertiary notes and lovely balance. Todays producers are increasing the percentage of Merlot in their blend. This delivers a softer wine that matures more quickly and is more approachable at younger age. Palate: black plum, black cherry, bay leaf, cocoa, graphite, baking spice and cedar. Enjoy!
