Christian scored this wine: 91/100
If you are looking for new experience and discovery, I highly recommend the Jose de Souca 2016, from the Jose Maria da Fonseca Winery. Harvested in the Alentejano region in Portugal, the wine expresses aromas of sour plum, date, earl grey tea, bread, tobacco, cocoa and oak. Blended from 58% Grand Noir, 22% Trincadeira and 20% Aragones, the wine delivers a fruity mouthfeel and delicious acidity. The finish is long and progressive, making this wine a never-ending story. Palate: black plum, black raspberry, bay leaf, graphite, caramel, chocolate and oak. Enjoy!
