Luc scored this wine: 89/100

With its pleasingly aromatic nose, this wine is reminiscent of a Viognier or Gewurz on the nose. The floral and tropical flavours persist on the palate, but are accompanied by a level of acidity that is generally not found in an aromatic wine. In a sense, this is the best of both worlds; the acidity expands the pairing options of this wine, while its flavour will pair up with dishes on the sweeter side. Coconut shrimp, meet you new best friend.

This sparkler is very fresh and mouth-watering, with high effervescence. Citrus and green apple lead the show along with slight tropical fruit and watermelon notes. The high acidity keeps the finish clean and short. This would be a good pairing for shellfish or sushi, or as a mouth-watering introduction to a multi-course meal.

The nose is surprisingly muted for a gewurz; the palate is also shows atypical constraint for a varietal that is generally very expressive. The experience of this wine is as much about texture and fell than it is about flavour. Rich and round, this gewurz has a satisfying mouth-filling roundness and viscosity to accompany the tropical fruit and floral flavours. The mid-length finish is buttery smooth and satisfying. Pair with a rich curry for maximum enjoyment.

There’s something nice about the simplicity of an unoaked chardonnay. Lively and bright, this wine is surprisingly aromatic on the nose, but settles in to more traditional pear and red apples on the palate, with a hint of tropical fruit to keep things interesting. Nice acidity make this a refreshing partner to fish-based dishes, especially something with a tropical fruit twist like a mango chutney. This wine once again proves the versatility of the chardonnay grape.

Luc scored this wine: 90/100

This decadent wine opens up with peach and candied lemon on the palate, and clearly gives away its forthcoming sweetness. The palate does not disappoint, with ripe stone fruit and lemon curd and a satisfying fullness in the mouth. There is just enough acidity to prevent the wine from being cloying, Perfect pairing for sweet lemon tarts or crème brûlée.
