Not your typical Gray tasting Gris. A festive peach colour comes from 30 hours of skin contact, I really love that. Light, pretty peach and apricot on the nose with a hint of something saline and floral. Flavours of smooth apricot and a clean pretty mineral finish. It reminds me of a pretty spring bouquet on a picnic table at the beach! Pair with oysters or light cheeses. 300 cases made from all PEC grapes. Tasted at the winery in May 2017.

Soft gray hue with a tinge of pink, with aromas of grapefruit and stone fruit with floral undertones, a soft and full mouth feel, with a zip of acidity mid-palate. This wine only spent 3 days on its lees, which imparts some of its fullness.
Beautiful with a variety of food, including holiday dinners or simple salads.

A light (11.8% alcohol) Pinot Gris from Prince Edward County. The grapes spent 3 days on the lees followed by 9 months in stainless steel. Floral aromas and some citrus notes. I detected a touch of sweetness which would be a result of the 7 g/l of sugar. Some nice acidity with flavours of green apple and grapefruit. A beautiful aperitif wine or pair with a light fish dish. Tasted October 2017.

Very light coloured with a pinkish-orange hue. Time on lees adds a bit of body and weight. Aromas and flavours of lemon, grapefruit, floral (jasmine?), honeysuckle and a hint of smoke. Quite lovely. Pair with shrimp and mango salad.

This was rose-gold in the glass. Interesting - more minerally than floral on the nose and palate. Light weight with a hint of bitterness on the finish that would be mellowed out by some light bites like smoked salmon. This was interesting because it leaned to the Alsation style more than many Ontario Pinot Gris. Retails at $24.95. Tasted March 2017

Tasted this one side-by-side with the Grange of Prince Edward County 2016 Pinot Gris Estate which was VERY different than the 'Select'. This one has an interesting aroma that is more 'wheaty' or beer-like and its colour is much darker than you would expect from a Pinot Gris.

Beautiful and intriguing copper to almost rose colour. A restrained nose with a little oxidation. Some white fruit on the nose with almonds. Despite the high acidity, it paradoxically was a little flabby with a bitter edge. I think the Grange Estate Pinot Gris delivers more for less $.

Juicy, super-ripe pineapple drenched in honey jumps from the glass. A touch of florals and steely minerality round out the nose. Grilled melon, pineapple and sweet grapefruit are upfront on the palate. Tangy citrus flavours stay with you in this light to medium weight wine. Pairings should include bridge flavours of citrus and tropical fruit. Grilled trout with pineapple mint salsa or seared halibut with brûléed grapefruit would suit nicely.
