Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro - Andrea's Wine Cellar rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

@FrescobaldiVini Beautiful Tuscan rose made from a blend of Syrah and Vermentino. Pale coral colour with an alluring boutiques featuring soft apricot, strawberry and sea driven minerality. Flavours are sublime; mandarin citrus, cherry, strawberry and melon. Medium plus acidity, medium body and finish with a hint of pink gala apple and raspberry persisting. Refined and refreshing and outstanding. Paired amazingly with smoked salmon canapes, cream cheese stuffed cherry peppers, speck and soft cheese charcuterie. 91 points - tasted January 2018
Frescobaldi Alíe 2016 is a rosé from the Tuscany wine region. This rosé is a wine of blend of Syrah and Vermentino wine grapes. Look for wild strawberries, citrus with an elegant minerality running through the wine. Pair with shrimp cocktail or fresh green salads. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
