Dufouleur 2016, Rully, Burgundy A.C., France: Dufouleur 2016 is a medium-bodied soft and supple Old World Pinot Noir from the Burgundy wine region. Fleshy cherry, earthy florals, cedarbrush and savoury spice flavours can be found on the palate. This winery keeps their vineyard healthy and strong employing the increasingly popular enherbement naturel maîtrisé (ENM), a process of letting grass and cover crops grown between the vine rows. Gadais Muscadet 2015, Sèvre Et Maine, Loire A.C., France: From the Loire wine region, Gadais 2015 is a great value Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie made from vielles vignes Melon de Bourgogne. Rich with layers of orange blossom, citrus peel, white grapefruit and nicely leesy giving a spicy and nutty character to the wine. Chill and enjoy with moules et frites. Muscadet food pairings: steamed mussels and fries, clam hot pot, fresh steamed freshwater shrimp.
