This Niagara Peninsula Chardonnay produced by Bachelder is terrific. This Niagara Chardonnay is made by a master, Thomas Bachelder. Full-bodied yet balanced with a long finish. Lots of ripe pear, apple and lemon cream, smooth, weighty on the palate with bright acidity. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Pair with roast chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: tuna steaks, swordfish, turkey dinner, beef, chicken breast.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Notes of apple and pineapple on the nose. A rich palate gives pineapple, vanilla and toast in a creamy mouthfeel.
Tasted Nov. 2018
This Niagara Peninsula Chardonnay produced by Bachelder is terrific. SO many layers of flavours -- ripe pear, apple, lemon curd, hazelnut, smoke followed by soft orange zest and light hay. Wowsers! This Chardonnay is dry and was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Drink now and for the next three years. Pair with roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews
