This wine is part of the winery's coastal collection, with vines planted in vineyards along the north and central coast of California. Pair with roast chicken and turkey.

Toasty nose featuring burnt vanilla, butterscotch, caramel, and caramel apple. Gentle and creamy palate with integrated acidity. Baked apple and toffee on the palate through the finish. Good value. Pair with apple Dijon chicken or creamy seafood alfredo.

Gold in the glass and buttery on the nose. Popcorn on the palate to complement the buttery nose. Somewhat silky mouth feel even with the high alcohol in evidence. Medium long length. Great value at $19.95. Tasted April 2019.

Creamy full-bodied buttery chardonnay with light to moderate oak.

This would be a great appetizer wine for appetizers that have a buttery texture (e.g., phyllo or puff pastry) and pairs well with cheese (emmental, brie, gouda).

From the William Hill Estate Winery, overlooking the Silverado Bench, comes the chic Chardonnay 2016. Golden in color, it will envelope your nose with aromas of yellow apple, pineapple, lemon, almond and butterscotch. This warm, lovely Chardonnay reveals itself with the taste of yellow apple, dry apricot, almond and a butterscotch finish. This California Chardonnay surprised me with its delicate acidity and gentle dose of oak. Will pairs well with Thai food.
