Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This "classic tier" Pinot Noir has all of the classic properties of this varietal. Cherry, cranberry, spice and hints of oak - it is a well-balanced, good value wine that can be paired with many foods.
Dianne Sheridan - Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Classic Pinot Noir. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in European oak. Will age for 3-6 years. On the palate, sour cherry, spice, vanilla. Well balanced. Light to medium in body. Pair with salmon, tuna, roasted chicken, duck.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Great value on this Pinot - fresh and light-bodied with a cranberry and rhubarb nose and roasted beet and sour cherry palate. Juicy acidity makes it easy to pair with a range of food.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Classic varietal style Pinot Noir, fermented in stainless steel and aged in European oak. Shows typical tart fruit, earth, sweet spice and milk chocolate. Drink now or age 3-6 years.
Tasted Jan. 2017
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A nice example of Pinot Noir, especially at this price point. Beautiful garnet colour. Tart cherry, spicy pepper, a bit of earthiness on the nose, fragrant but light. Cherry and pepper on the palate too, soft tannins and nice acidity. Definitely a nice wine for pork or turkey.
Neil Phillips rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Aromas of cherry, cranberry, bramble.

On the palate, medium weight tart cherry, medium finish. Reasonable balance, though not overly complex with red fruit / alcohol predominating along with some oak. Easy drinking and versatile with many foods.

A tasty, good value Pinot Noir from a reliably consistent Ontario producer.

Tasted September 2016.
