Reviews and Ratings

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I was delighted by this red from Nova Scotia. The aromas are in line with cold-climate pinot noir; cherry, raspberry, slightly earthy. The flavour reminds me of strawberries wih balsamic and pepper. Fruity, earthy, and tangy.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A surprisingly complex wine with aromas of tart cherry, cranberry, ripe strawberry, smoke, vanilla and spices. The taste is similar and has a nice tart cherry finish. Pair with herb rubbed BBQ chicken.
Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Tart cranberry / sweet herbs / earthy cherry / light bodied with bright acidity.

Coq au Vin, s'il vous plait.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Offers smoke and cherry on the nose with cherry liquer, plum and spice flavors.
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Light orange and red colour, with some cranberry, cherry aromas and flavours. Medium acid, dry and a touch of tannins. An interesting Pinot from Nova Scotia, a place that is not really known for this varietal.
Chris Coughlin - WSET level 3 grad rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Light in colour, medium in intensity, you'll find some un-ripen plum and cherry flavours with floral notes.
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Pale garnet in colour this aromatic wine has flavours of red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, vanilla, black pepper, and cinnamon.
Soft ripe tannins, and refreshing acidity help keep this wine in balance, on the warming finish.
Drink now.
Pair with grilled chicken or salmon dishes.
Date dasted: June 2014.
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

June 22, 2014: Medium ruby in the glass, the nose is a bit shy with some raspberry, hint of floral and delicate spice notes. Light bodied, fine drying tannins with raspberry and strawberry with a short finish trending a little bitter. I would have liked the fruit to be better defined. This would be a better candidate for food than a sipper, try with herb crusted tenderloin or grilled chicken stuffed with goat cheese.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Light red in colour, refreshing tart cherry, herbs, with some noticeable tannins too.
Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Ruby/orange color!

notes of cherry, Vanilla and smoke.

This wine has an elegant structure on the palate.

Pair it with white meat.
Serve it at 15-16 degrees.
Ready to drink but can be aged 2-3 years.
