Gaspereau Vineyards is a premium boutique winery situated in the beautiful Gaspereau Valley, mere minutes from downtown Wolfville. The first winery to establish in the valley, Gaspereau Vineyards is situated on the edge of a picturesque, 50 acre vineyard, formerly the site of a dairy farm & apple orchard. The terroir of the valley is expressed to our visitors as they look upon the winery, nestled amoungst the rolling countryside, as the warm sunshine combines with a refreshing breeze. During the summer months, the valley is often ten degrees Celsius warmer than the Atlantic coast of the province. The first vines were planted in 1997. Our boutique operates in the replica of a historic barn on the premises and has been warmly welcoming the public since 2004.
We specialize in quality driven, expressive, fruit-forward, terroir driven whites, and earthy, robust red wines that are ideally suited to the local cuisine. European-trained, Nova Scotia born winemaker, Gina Haverstock, produces wines that are true to the variety and uniquely Nova Scotian. In the vineyard, cellar and boutique, the Gaspereau team is a small but passionate crew dedicated to providing guests with a complete and personal Nova Scotian wine experience .

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
