Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This jammy offering from Stella Bella is well balanced, presenting pleasing notes of black cherry, raspberry, cola, cedar and sweet spice. Integrated and medium bodied this cab would pair nicely with BBQ.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromatic Cab Sauv from Australia's Margaret River region. Lovely blackcurrant, strawberry and vanilla flavours, rather grippy tannins. Decant before serving.
Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

I love this region for Cabernet Sauvignon (and Chardonnay... and Sauvignon Blanc... and Meritage...)

This wine is a little more subdued on the nose with nice interplay between the fruit, the development aromas (or tertiary in wine speak), and coconut and vanilla from oak.

The fruit opens up on the palate with lovely balance between the ripeness and the elegant acidity.

A nice example.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Margaret River, the Stella Bella 2015 offers aromas of dark skin plum, blueberry, black pepper, leather, smoke, cocoa and oak. This full-bodied Australian wine delivers freshness and a dry finish that will pair perfectly with a tomato sauce dish. Palate: tart plum, cranberry, green leaf, leather, spice, cocoa and oak. Enjoy.
Pam Hatton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Rich ruby colour with a nose of cassis, black fruit, mocha, leather, hints of eucalyptus, and vanilla from the oak. Full bodied with dry tannins. The black fruit and cassis come through on the palate with an oaky and somewhat long but hot finish.
Jay Denney rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This baby rolls in hot with alcohol and tannin, so give it the space and time it needs to mellow out and deliver a mouthful of blackberry, currant and cedar.
From the Margaret River wine region, Stella Bella 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is a medium-bodied-plus savoury Cab with bright red cherry, plum, wild herb and bay leaf flavours on the palate. Tannins are firm. Decant one hour prior to pouring with a grilled sausages and pepper steak or cellar for two years to tame those grippy tannins. - Community Wine Reviews
