Fonseca White Port Wine Review

Natalie's Score: 87/100I was surprised at this port mostly because I haven't tried many of the white variety. (I love tawny!) Makes a lovely after-dinner drink to sip on its own or with biscotti or fruit-based desserts.
White Port food pairings: Serve as an aperitif, over ice with Tonic and mint, or on its own.

2 ounces white port
Dash of lime juice
2 ounces tonic water
1 slice of bitter melon or cucumber, plus 2 slices of seedless green grapes, skewered on a toothpick
Combine the port and lime juice in a wineglass with ice. Add the tonic. Garnish with the bitter melon or cucumber and grapes.
Well balanced fragrant nose combining aromas of mellow fruit and delicate hints of honey and fine oak. Round and velvety on the palate with a long soft finish full of delicious ripe fruity flavours.
