So vibrant, pretty and floral! This Niagara white wine blend of Viognier 40%, Chardonnay 30%, Gewurztraminer 15% and Chardonnay Musque 15% grapes delivers way beyond it's modest price point. Perfect for mild to medium curries and spices as well as a chilled aperitif.

Food pairings: roast chicken, spicy pasta dishes, shrimp tempura, grilled salmon.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Big and bold on the nose and palate. Full bodied, balanced medium plus acidity, medium alcohol. Nutmeg, allspice and floral on the nose. On the palate, ripe banana, clove, floral. Pairs well with Thai green curry with eggplant and sweet basil. Easily enjoyable on its own likewise. Tasted 2016 vintage in March 2018. Well done. 91 points
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Four grape blend, 60% aromatics with 29% Viognier, 19% Gewurztraminer, and 12% Chardonnay Musque, while Chardonnay accounts for the remaining 40%. Abundantly floral, touches of spice, and very fruity. Creamy and tropical suggestions with a bit of butter and caramel, followed by peach. Palate is soft and creamy with fresh acidity. Lemon and apple before the finish quickly adds tropical and floral notes. Oak spice and ginger tingle the palate. A fun, interesting wine that will pair well with chicken stir fry.
Pam Hatton rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Pale yellow with elegant fruit of white stone fruit, spice hinting at nutmeg. Full and rich on the palate with subtle oaky flavours lending some vanilla, smoke and white fruits. Balanced acidity with medium long finish
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I think this is the best one yet. This has everything you want in a high-quality, good value white. There's nothing that you can knock about this wine. The stone fruit, citrus, lanolin, pear, and baked apple notes are elevated by a slight smoky and mineral edge. This is very solid juice, best paired with cedar planked salmon or a good piece of halibut with a lemon and herb gremolata. 90 Points.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This Niagara Peninsula white blend is fruity and aromatic. Presenting peaches, white orchard fruit and floral notes, the viognier and gewürztraminer grapes show through in this chardonnay dominant wine.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Stonefruit and floral aromas with peach, honey and lemon notes on the palate. Pair with shellfish or grilled whitefish.
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A great all-round white.…
Presentation: A colourful, distinctive label
Appearance: Pale gold
Nose: Medium-pronounced nose with notes of tropical fruit (bananas, lychee), white flowers and honey
Taste: Dry, full body, high acidity, low tannins, and brioche, cinnamon, Christmas spices, lemon rind
Finish: long brioche finish
Overall impression: An interesting white wine, which could be good for contemplation, sipping, or paired with chicken, white sauce pastas, or grilled vegetables.
Value: 4/5
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Blend of chardonnay with 3 very aromatic grapes - viognier, gewurtztraminer, and chardonnay musque. Medium bodied, ripe apple, apricot, cantaloupe, honeysuckle, orange blossom. Pair with a curry - butter paneer, simple dahl.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Mineral notes and aromas of tropical fruit, lychee, peach, and honey. On the palate, it is very tart with lemon flavours and hints of minerality seeping through. A nice blend!

Tasted February 2018
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An unusual and very tasty blend! This year's blend is 40% Chardonnay, 29% Viognier, 19% Gewerztraminer, and 12% Charonnay Musque. Aromas of golden apple, melon, honey, and a hint of lychee and floral. Full bodied and smooth on the palate, with medium-low acidity, and soft, vibrant fruit flavours, with a honeyed finish. Enjoy with creamy seafood pastas or any white fish dishes.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Almost clear with a clean, light but lively floral nose. The palate is surprisingly herbal and crisp after the aromatic nose. Medium to long finish. Sip on its own or with light crab salad. Tasted April 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier reviewed this wine as follows:

Interesting blend. The aromas show prominent vanilla, nutmeg and baked apple notes that remind of me freshly baked bread pudding. The palate is dry and medium-bodied with lasting cinnamon and nutmeg spiced baked apple, pear and white citrus flavours. Overall a great wine with juicy acidity. It would be interesting to try with winter spiced pear and apple bread pudding. You never know...
