Made in the traditional method from 100% Chardonnay that was grown in limestone rich clay. It was aged a minimum of 36 months on its lees. On the nose, it has aromas of ripe pear, pie crust, citrus notes and marzipan. On the palate, it is dry, medium-bodied, creamy, with lots of fine bubbles. It is fresh with lemon flavours, hints of almond biscotti, and a slightly bitter finish. The flavours linger. An excellent dupe for Champagne. Tasted August 2019. Wine-Food Pairing: Pair with seafood salad, salty tempura fried appetizers, or go ahead and indulge with caviar. winefoodbliss.com

On the nose, there is black cherry and plum aromas with potpourri, the sweet aroma of decomposing autumn leaves, cinnamon and smoke. On the palate, it is wonderfully tart with structured tannins and flavours of plum and ripe blackberry. There is not by any means any sweetness but there is honey notes and the decomposing leaves carry through in the taste. There is a smoky finish and the flavours linger. A tasty wine at a wonderful price point. Pair with grilled meat or with pasta in a roasted tomato sauce. winefoodbliss.com

This bubbly is made from 100% Gamay using the Charmat method. It is absolutely stunning in my glass with its rich strawberry colour. On the nose, I get fresh almond croissant followed by plenty of red field berries, loads of minerality, a touch of cantaloupe, and citrus notes. On the palate, it is an easy drinking Sparkling Wine that is tart and dry. Although light, the minerality gives it a certain opulence. Besides the mineral notes, I taste red berries, red currant, and lemon with a crisp finish. Tasted July 2019. Aromas of ripe strawberries along with dark berries, cedar, beetroot, and hints of baking spices and cocoa. On the palate, it is full-bodied with smooth tannins and dark berry flavours followed by bell pepper as well as cinnamon and cocoa undertones. Lovely wine at a great price point. Pair with a barbecued steak. Tasted at the Argentine Special Tasting Evening in Ottawa June 2019.

Mineral with creamy notes on the nose along with baked apple and tropical fruit, predominately ripe pineapple. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, buttery, with tart lemon flavours and very subtle oak. I was told the muted oak is a result of using larger barrels. Overall, a good wine at an excellent price point. Pair with fettuccini alfredo or with buttery seafood. Tasted at the Argentine Special Tasting Evening in Ottawa June 2019
