On the nose, there is sun-soaked, ripe, and juicy aromas of strawberry and blueberry, along with violet, chocolate, and cloves. On the palate, the sun drenched dark berries follow through, as well as flavours of chocolate, espresso, some floral notes, and black pepper at the finish. It is full-bodied, has some sweetness, and gentle tannins. Wine-Food Pairing: This would go great with a pulled pork sandwich that is smothered in barbecue sauce. Tasted September 2018

On the palate, there are dark berry flavours, predominantly blackcurrant, with bitter espresso at the finish. This is a full-bodied wine with tannins that are well integrated and has a nice overall harmony. You definitely wants to have this one with food. Wine-Food Pairing: Barbecued Steak.
