Melanie scored this wine: 91/100

Aromas of ripe strawberries along with dark berries, cedar, beetroot, and hints of baking spices and cocoa. On the palate, it is full-bodied with smooth tannins and dark berry flavours followed by bell pepper as well as cinnamon and cocoa undertones. Lovely wine at a great price point. Pair with a barbecued steak. Tasted at the Argentine Special Tasting Evening in Ottawa June 2019.

Melanie scored this wine: 90/100

Mineral with creamy notes on the nose along with baked apple and tropical fruit, predominately ripe pineapple. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, buttery, with tart lemon flavours and very subtle oak. I was told the muted oak is a result of using larger barrels. Overall, a good wine at an excellent price point. Pair with fettuccini alfredo or with buttery seafood. Tasted at the Argentine Special Tasting Evening in Ottawa June 2019

Melanie scored this wine: 92/100

Aromas of stewed strawberries, earthy beets, jalapeno peppers and potpourri. It is full-bodied on the palate with perceivable tannins that are well integrated. Tart plum flavours with notes of cedar, jalapeno peppers where you can almost taste the spice, and cinnamon. Another well made Argentinean wine at a great price point! Melanie scored this wine: 93/100

Plum aromas, red field berries, and a meaty quality on the nose along with violet, sweet spice, tobacco, and hints of menthol. I was wowed on the palate by the perfectly balanced structure and harmony of the wine. It is full bodied while having fresh tartness and lovely flavours of dark fruit and plums, cedar, cinnamon, and a sharp espresso finish. Excellent value!!! Pair with roast beef or braised meat. Tasted at the Argentine Special Tasting Evening in Ottawa June 2019.

Melanie scored this wine: 91/100

Floral on the nose with rose aromas, grapefruit, clementine, and mineral notes. The grapefruit, floral, and clementine notes follow through on the palate. It is medium-bodied, dry and fresh with just a touch of bitterness at the finish. A very nice Torrontés at an excellent price! Pair with sushi or mild curries. Current Fav Wine

I love the tartness often associated with cool climate wines. Currently, I am loving Ontario wines, especially Pinot Noir and dry Riesling. I have a soft spot for Italian wine. I also love a wide range of sparkling wines, especially those made using the Champenoise method.
