Vineland Estates Elevation St. Urban Vineyard Riesling 2016, Niagara Escarpment, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Another terrific off-dry Vineland Riesling from the solid 2014 vintage. Aromas of lime and lemon zest with a deep core of minerality. Pair with fresh halibut in a beurre blanc sauce. This is a great Riesling from the Niagara Escarpment wine region in Ontario to pair with fresh whitefish baked in a white wine sauce. This nose is lime and lemon zest with a distinct mineral flintiness. Riesling food pairings: salad, mild curries, Thai coconut shrimp.
