La Crema is well-known for its Californian Pinot Noir, and here we are with their Oregonian version from the Willamette Valley. Luscious, medium-bodied and satin-smooth, this Oregonian Pinot Noir has classic aromas of fleshy ripe cherry and berry and some mocha. Racy acidity on the palate from this cool climate. Pair with grilled salmon or seared tuna.

Pinot Noir food pairings: roasted pork loin, tourtière, prime rib, coq au vin.

From Willamette Valley, Oregon, this is a distinctive Pinot Noir, aromatic and flavourful with layers of marionberry(a type of Oregon blackberry), violet, bay leaf, sweet spice, sous bois and mocha. Excellent acidity and an intriguing mocha/orange zest finish. Enjoy with all your Pinot pairings; planked salmon, duck, lamb or turkey.

Jisun Hahn CAPS Certified Somm rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

La Crema is a consistent producer and this pinot noir from Willamette Valley is no exception to the quality we have grown to expect. This is a smooth, medium body wine with notes of ripe black cherry, hints of vanilla and baking spice, enrobed with a touch of smoke. The mushroom is apparent but the palate leads with ripe red fruit. Would be lovely paired with pan fried duck breast topped with sour cherry compote and served with a warm mushroom and field greens salad.

I'm a fan of La Crema wines - period!! Have quite a few in my cellar from various vineyards - Sonoma, Monterey, Russian River .... This latest release from Willamette Valley in Oregon just solidifies my belief that this is a company that knows how to make great Pinot Noir!

Ripe cherry, raspberry, smoke and touch of earthy aromas draw you in. Beautifully balanced with luscious fruit, smooth tannins and just the right amount of acidity. Long cherry finish.

One for a Saturday night, one for my cellar - though I think I need to go buy more! Tasted November 11, 2017
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

La Crema wines are known for their consistent delivery of high quality wines. This Pinot Noir is no exception - the palate is rich and elegant showing ripe flavors and layers of raspberry, cherry and earth with a hint of smokiness. The tannins are velvety smooth and the finish is lengthy and pleasant. Tasted November 2017.
Gwen Barton rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Medium-full bodied Pinot out of Oregon. Strawberry, sour cherry and forest floor aromas ( think mushrooms). Soft tannins- very nicely balanced. Lovely finish with sweet chocolate and vanilla notes. Pair with Brie stuffed mushrooms. Tasted Feb 2018.
La Crema Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley in Oregon is consistently savoury, with juicy ripe cherries, chocolate notes and mouth-watering acidity. The 2015 vintage does not disappoint with this cool-climate, medium-bodied PN. Pair with grilled salmon. - Community Wine Reviews
