Opens with citrus and gooseberry goodness, then follows with clean and crisp with notes of lime, chives, lemongrass and grass on the palate. Gorgeous replays of flavours right through to the refreshing finish. Perfect for shellfish.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: guacamole, sushi, pasta with cream-based sauce, pizza, grilled salmon.

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Big lemon, lime, and gooseberry aromas with extra straw, grass, and green vegetable goodness. Lots of the vegetal tastes carry through on the palate as well.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Very tropical and aromatic wine. Opens up with tons of lychee, pineapple, and honeydew melon. Bright mouthwatering acidty, lemon, and lemongrass. Beautiful and expressive wine.
Shelley Harris rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely white wine with a fruity aroma and smooth and fruity on the palate. This would greatly complement a delicate Moroccan chicken tagine, filled with aromatic spices of cinnamon and cardamom, and dried fruits, apricots and dates, an abundance of fruitiness.
Matt Steeves, Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Welcoming nose of ripe tropical fruits, sweet asian pear, with a light core of herbs and grass. Refreshing acidity makes this wine a terrific option for a wide array of summer meals or simply to enjoy on a patio in the sun.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale yellow in color with citrus and tropical fruit aromas and flavors highlighted by gooseberry flavors on the palate.
Jennifer Macdonald rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale yellow. Bright citrus and gooseberry with a hint of grassiness and some green apple. Apple and lemon come through on the palate with a softer finish than some other NZ Sauv Blancs, but still with nice mouthwatering acidity.
Heather Wall CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This Sauvignon Blanc wins points for typicity. Pale lemon-green with medium +aromas of citrus, gooseberry, pineapple, floral, cut grass. Fresh acidity on the palate with additional flavours of herbs de Provence, apple and Pear. Not an overly long finish.
A great salad wine. Serve well chilled.

Tom Vigeant reviewed this wine as follows:

Nose dominated by herbaceous aromas. This carries through on the palate, too grassy for my taste. Zippy acidity and light to medium body.
Superb value in this kiwi Sauvignon Blanc from a producer that has been absent from the market for a while. So good to see this refreshing white wine back on the liquor store shelves. - Community Wine Reviews
