A lovely Prince Edward County Pinot Noir that spent 1 year in new French oak barrels. Juicy and delicious. Aromas of tart cherry and spice. Pair with veal.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

My favourite wine at Taste Ontario 2019! Beautifully aromatic and bursting with ripe yet tart flavours. Lots of berry fruit, cherries and strawberries, forest floor and mocha on a satiny palate with perfect acidity. I carried my sample around with me to savour every drop! Enjoy with roast duck, salmon or stuffed Portobello mushrooms.

Paula Bernardino rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

I attended the annual Taste Ontario event at the beautiful Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa April 2 featuring wines from the four major Ontario wine regions: Lake Erie North Shore, Niagara Escarpment & Twenty Valley, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Prince Edward County.

I tried Huff Estates’ Pinot Noir Reserve with interesting aromas and flavours of red berries. Nice classy label. 12% alcohol.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lively and smooth, a great combination of fruit, earth, and tartness. Aromas of tart cherry, mocha, and earthy soil and green forest notes. Medium bodied, with bright acidity and lovely balance of fruit, earth, and spice. Enjoy with grilled pork or salmon.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A light-bodied Pinot Noir with aromas of raspberry pie filing, field cherries, mushroom, and forest floor. It is easy drinking with tart sour cherry and cranberry flavours. Good on its own or pair with salmon, cornish hen, or roasted Portobello mushroom.

Tasted at the Taste Ontario event in Ottawa March 2020
This is a juicy, medium-bodied Pinot Noir from Prince Edward County with bright cherry, plum, violets, flinty and smoky on the nose with ripe cherry, plum, anise and fine herb flavours on the palate. Tannins are velvety. - Community Wine Reviews
