This robust Washington red wine is a deep ruby-red hue in the glass. Aromas of intensely ripe black cherry, blackberry, cigar smoke, leather and spice. The 2016 vintage of this classic Cabernet Sauvignon has great structure and a long finish. Decant one hour and enjoy with a rare steak.

This is a fine example of a new world Cabernet Sauvignon at a refreshingly affordable price. It opens up with the typical west coast ripe black fruit of a west coast cabernet and features a well-balanced structure with pleasant actidty and surprisingly smooth tannins for a young cabernet. The medium to long finish of black fruit is quite pleasant and invited the next sip. A great value for an all-around pleasing Cabernet Sauvignon. This would be a good crowd-pleaser for Holiday parties.

This is always a pleasure to taste and consume with hearty fare. Lots of crushed blackberry, crushed plum, iron, vanilla, linzer torte, warm spice, chocolate, and Kenya AA coffee. 92 Points.

Genuine and delicious. This Washington producer has such a large share of the entire state's production, but what they have done is brought a niche region to everybody's attention.
Bright ruby-red.
Great aromatics of overripe cherry amd cassis. Cigar, anise, dried thyme, chocolate, and craisin.
The flavours are nice, juicy, and a good balance of red fruit and spice. Very tasteful oaking too.
Occasionally, these dudes leave a bit of extra canopy on their Cab to protect them from exposire to the sun. This can give it a slight savoury zing that you can taste in this vintage. Pleasant and a great price.

Black fruit on the nose with vanilla, plum and blueberry flavors on the palate. Nice fruit forward finish with velvet tannins. Pair with grilled meats. Tasted November 2018.

Aromas of ripe cherry, currant, plum, mocha, and a bit of smoke and leather, and warm spice. Full bodied, smooth, and velvety on the palate, with some rounded ripe fruit flavours. That mocha and spice carries through on the finish. Quite nice! Enjoy with prime rib.

Deep ruby in the glass, Columbia Valley's Chateau Ste Michelle's 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is great value just over $20. Ripe black cherry, dark berries, leather and spice on the nose, this is a beautiful dry, layered and elegant, full-bodied red with spicy, dark berry and rich cherry flavours on the palate.
