Dear Bacchus, October 26, 2012

Raise a glass with me, my fellow wine cheapskate, or rather bargain-hunter! The modestly priced paperback edition of Unquenchable: A Tipsy Quest for the World's Best Bargain Wines hit book stores this week.

It has a new chapter on wine and book pairings that's ideal for wine and book clubs, as well as for those who like to sip as they read. Here's a taste of those pairings in this tongue-in-cheek video.

You may as well get some holiday shopping done now rather than waiting until the lineups are long, right?

You can create a very personal gift this year for anyone who loves wine or wants to learn about it ...

... from friends and family to your clients who are deciding about new year's business, a boss debating your raise or your child's teacher about to complete that mid-term report card.

I'll write a note for you to the person to whom you are giving the book on a bookplate that you can affix to the inside cover. If you like, pair it with wine as a book-and-bottle gift set.

As luck would have it, there's a wine release tomorrow with some wines that pair beautifully with the text in the book ... they're also great for holiday entertaining.

Have a great weekend,

Natalie
