Full bodied, with rich buttery flavours of pineapple and lingering citrus this wine would be terrific with chicken or creamy pasta dishes.

Aromas of tropical fruits (pineapple), with vanilla notes, toasty oak, butterscotch and honeysuckle on the nose. This is a nice buttery chardonnay wine with a twist of citrusy (apple) finish. Excellent wine to enjoy on the patio during a nice summer day but also it would work well with shrimp, lobster or chicken dish.

This wine is buttery and smooth with soft notes of vanilla and mandarin orange, accompanied by minerality, and mouthwatering juicy acidity with mango and a long orange blossom and tropical baked pineapple finish. Enjoy this wonderful festive crowd pleaser now as it's very good to go.

Full bodied, with medium acidity to balance the oak and mingle with the same tropical notes that come through on the palate. Longer finish on this wine. Would be great with your typical roast chicken or turkey, as well as a variety of fish or seafood in wine or cream sauces.

This brand has been ridiculously successful in the midrange premium categories. Constellation Brands since then took note and purchased the brand off of the Wagner portfolio for $50 mil. These wines are pleasurable and accommodating to people new to wine and also seasoned Chard fans. This wine, year after year, always impresses with concentration and body. Deep lemon colouration. Aromas of white/yellow plum, vanilla wafer, mango, honey, subtle florality, and oats. There is some lingering alcohol on the aroma that follows through to the taste. It is pretty rich. More of the malolactic notes come through on the palate. Butter, caramel, baked apple, and lemon preserve. A nice wine to pair with bacon wrapped scallops or butter lemon shrimp.
Holly rated this wine as 77/100 with the following review: Maybe it is not yet matured, but the 2014 Meiomi Chardonnay was disappointingly metallic tasting. Supposedly, this blend was aged in French oak, but I could only taste a light minerality, similar to Sauvignon Blanc. Unlike many, I prefer "heavier" Chardonnays, with notes of oak, rather than the lean "cleanness" of popular Chardonnays aged in stainless steel vats.

Rich tropical fruit, with sweet vanilla bean, toasty oak, lees, and butterscotch on the nose and palate. There are aromas of butterscotch, toast, honey and lemon tarts, with a round oakiness, again with citrus and tropical fruit on the palate. would pair perfectly with roast chicken or pork loin on a smoker.
From the dense fogs and brilliant sun, to the high winds, cool coastal air and diverse terrain, California’s coast presents many challenges. And yet it’s still one of the best winegrowing regions for producing world-class Chardonnay. Each of the vineyards chosen for this wine offers the best expression of their respective appellations, carefully blended to achieve balance, complexity, and richness of flavor. This is a full-bodied blend of Chardonnay grapes, of which 37% is Monterey County fruit that lends ripe stone fruit and a round, creamy texture; 36% Sonoma County which imparts crisp apple and lean minerality; and 27% Santa Barbara County offering exotic sweet spice and lively tropical fruit. The 2014 growing season was ideal along the entire California coastline. A warm spring and textbook summer free of heat spikes produced exceptional flavor development and smooth ripe tannins. We were exceptionally happy with the abundance of high-quality fruit harvested from all three regions. Each lot was kept separate in the winery so we could tailor the winemaking techniques to enhance the unique regional nuances. Upon unifying them, we were able to create a well-balanced Chardonnay that possesses the signature Meiomi style—rich and ripe, with depth and complexity. Fermentation took place in a combination of French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks, retaining some of the vibrant fruit to contrast beautifully against the rich, textural oak characteristics. All blend components underwent 100% malolactic fermentation to add further depth and roundness. Bright, enticing layers of tropical fruit are heightened by the enchantingly sweet smells of brown sugar, honey, and butterscotch. Notes of mango and citrus zest enhance the complex palate. The lush, creamy mouthfeel is elevated by subtle flavors of honey and butterscotch. Aging in a combination of stainless steel tanks and 7 months in French oak barrels. Joseph Wagner, Winemaker.
