Maybe it is not yet matured, but the 2014 Meiomi Chardonnay was disappointingly metallic tasting. Supposedly, this blend was aged in French oak, but I could only taste a light minerality, similar to Sauvignon Blanc. Unlike many, I prefer "heavier" Chardonnays, with notes of oak, rather than the lean "cleanness" of popular Chardonnays aged in stainless steel vats.
