Abbotts & Delaunay Les Fleurs Sauvages Viognier 2017, Languedoc I.G.P., France: A lovely, aromatic southern French white wine made from the Viognier grape. Notes of white florals and fresh peach. Pair with mild to medium curries and spices. This wine won a Bronze medal at the prestigious 2018 Decanter World Wine Awards. Viognier food pairings: fish tacos, crab cakes, pan-fried panfish. Echeverria Limited Edition Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Central Valley D.O., Chile: From Echeverria, this is a limited edition, full-bodied red blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah and 5% Carmenère wine grapes. Rich on the nose with ripe cherries, blackberries and plums and dry on the palate with minty herbs, pepper and savoury spice with a lingering dark chocolate finish. Nicely done and delicious.
