Santa Julia's Torrontes is always a crowd-pleaser. Perfect for grilled fish and shellfish dishes from the BBQ. So fragrant on the nose with spring florals, it's a summer wine for sure with its ripe stone fruit, soft orange, citrus zest and zesty on the palate. Pair with fresh steamed shrimp, butternut squash pasta. The Santa Julia Winery was the first in Mendoza to earn Fair for Life certification ensuring Fair trade practices and the protection of workers' Human Rights.

Torrontés food pairings: sushi, Thai noodles in a light lemongrass sauce, crab cakes.

Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon in colour, with a moderate nose, dry, medium acidity, and light body. Aroma of lime, lemon, white flower, possibly orange blossom and stone fruit builds over time; very fragrant. Taste is dominated by white floral, supported by lemon, lime, peach and sweet spice. Nice finish of floral with lime and spice.Delicious with BBQ chicken skewers in thyme marinade. First wine of spring on the patio!
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Unmistakable nose, clearly Torrontés, orange blossom and mango with suggestions of citrus and stone fruit. Dry with subtle texture and good fruit flavours. Serve alongside a mango chicken stir fry with sliced bell peppers.
This Torrontés is an excellent value under $14. Floral with lime, lemon, orange blossom aromas on the nose. Wine grapes are sourced from the Mendoza wine region and are farmed organically. A medium-bodied white, mouth filling with honeysuckle, ripe melon, apple and pineapple flavours on the palate. Crisp and refreshing with a long citrus zest finish. Great with grilled prawns. - Community Wine Reviews
