Plushy, rich and velvety on the palate on this mostly Zinfandel wine with Petit Sirah, Carignane and Mourvèdre. Full-bodied with smoky, toasty with dark cherry, plum, blue florals and meaty flavours on the palate. Could easily cellar for another three years as this wine promises to give many years of drinking pleasure.

Food pairings: meatloaf, lentil patties, Italian style pizza, salami, veal shanks, charcuterie, soft cheeses.

Reviews and Ratings

From Sonoma County, California Ridge Lytton Springs 2016 is a rich, powerful and intense Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignane and Mourvèdre red wine blend. Layers of blackberries, blueberries, plum, mocha, wild and minty herb flavours on the palate. Just delicious. Decant for one hour and enjoy now or hold in cellar for three years. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
