Deep violet in the glass and delicious with a juicy red blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah mostly aged in concrete tank with a small portion blended in oak barrel. Loads of ripe black cherry, dark berry, spicy, peppery flavours on this full-bodied red with fine velvety tannins. Enjoy now and for the next five years.

Food pairings: roast leg of lamb, prime rib, venison tenderloin.

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This Cairanne is ethereal. Full of glycerine, black cherry coulis, brambles, camphor, graphite and elderberry syrup. Dense and delicious, with a mineral-tinged acidity that brings it all together. 92 points
From Domaine Roche Cairanne 2015, this is a great value and tasty Côtes Du Rhône-Villages 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah red wine blend. So smooth and lush on the palate with dark plums, dark berries, earthy and peppery spice flavours on the palate. Enjoy now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
