Pale with green flecks in the glass, so floral on the nose with jasmine, ripe stone fruit and honey aromas. On the palate, this Viognier is dry, creamy, rich with honeyed stone fruit, toasty almond and sweet cake spice flavours. Delish! Vegan and vegetarian-friendly.

Viognier food pairings: Moroccan couscous; grilled pork chops with mango chutney, pork tenderloin en croute.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A gorgeous example of what Australia can do with the grape, this wine has lots of fresh cut lemon drizzled with honey, with some preserved citrus, white peach and pressed flowers. There is a nice acidity to cut the tropical on the finish. Lovely. 90 Points.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Peach blossom and nectarine nose. Palate expresses fresh white floral and stone fruit flavours with hints of pineapple and honey. Big body, 14.5% ABV, dry with well- rounded texture. Calls for chicken, veal, or pork on the grill.
Rebecca Meir-Liebman - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

It’s loaded with white peach and pear on the nose, a full and round feeling on the palate, and nice lemon juice acid on the finish, but what I love about this wine is its mouthfeel – there’s a honey texture which is creamy and pleasant. It’s a great wine to pair with rich and heavier dishes such as Cornish hen and creamy pastas.
Yalumba's Viognier 2017 is produced from organically-grown grapes. Yalumba Viognier is a benchmark Viognier for Australia. Pale lemon in the glass, fragrant with orange blossom, exotic spice and bright citrus aromas. Creamy and rich on the palate with ripe apricot, sweet spice and nutty flavours on the palate. Vegan and vegetarian friendly. - Community Wine Reviews
