Aromas of raspberry, plum and red cherry...with a hint of chocolate. On the palate; lively acidity and a long finish. Lamb's best friend.

Bright and fresh on the nose with aromas of floral, cherry, strawberry. This medium-bodied red wine has balanced bright acidity with flavours of tart cherry, pepper, vanilla and toast. A definite food friendly Pinot Noir. Enjoy with planked salmon, or perfect pizza wine.

Astrid Young - Sommelier ISG CAPS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Nice fresh fruity nose with dried berry fruit, mixed field berries, mid palate is lovely and full of raspberry and spice, medium bodied with bright acidity, it's quite simple, but quite delicious. Enjoy with butter chicken, jerk chicken or Chana masala, or just on its own, as it would be a great way to start an evening.
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Elegant and understated this Pinot Noir has medium body and refreshing acidity. The flavours of red cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, black pepper cinnamon, and earth linger on the long finish.
Pair with medium intensity cheeses or coq-au-vin rouge.
Drink now, or keep up to 18 months.
Date tasted: August 2014.

Smells like a juicy cherry,or a cranberry gelly.Quite mouthwatering!Tasty, just a bit spicy, and with just a hint of wood smoke. No bully, here!Would pair it with sunday's stuffed turkey at grandma's,duck confit, or portobello burger.

August 17, 2014: Ruby in colour, red fruit, toasty oak and baking spice on the nose. Light bodied with lifted acidity and fine tannins, flavours of red currant, cherry and raspberry with some of the toasty notes coming through on the medium finish. Enjoy over the next few years.

Matua Marlborough Pinot Noir is a vibrant light cherry red with a nose that exhibits perfumed violet aromas, complementing sweet cherry fruit. The palate displays soft, rich, sweet fruit, balanced with integrated lingering oak, resulting in lenght and complexity.

Le Matua Marlborough Pinot Noir est d’une couleur rouge cerise pâle avec un nez qui présente des arômes de violette parfumée complétant les cerises. Son palais démontre des fruits doux, riches et sucrés équilibrés par du chene durable intégr

Inviting, fairly intense nose of spice and red berries. Flavours also follow this profile. Moderate oaking. Well balanced and long Finish. Nicely done.

Light red in colour, fresh fruit aromas entice the nose. With spice and raspberry flavours this wine finishes well. A good wine for turkey and stuffing or simply enjoying on its own, this Pinot Noir does not disappoint.
