A grogeous BC Riesling with complex aromas of lime, apple blossom, lemon and wet stone. Racy acidity and minerality for seafood and shellfish. Terrific!

Reviews and Ratings

This is a gorgeous Riesling from BC's Okanagan Valley. Perfectly balanced, you'll enjoy mouthwatering lemon, ripe, red apple and mineral notes. Pair with spicy Asian fare. Tasted July 15, 2018.
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Pale straw in colour with aromas of lemon, apple, honey suckles and minerality. It is light bodied with mouthwatering acidity and it has flavours of lemon and red apple. This will pair well with spicy or Asian dishes. Tasted on July 15, 2018.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful! Aromas of red apple, lemon, honeysuckle, orange and wet stone. Bright acidity, lots of lemon, honey and mineral notes on the palate. Nicely balanced with a lengthy finish. Enjoy with fresh seafood.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Wow! Amazing - Riesling from Tantalus Vineyards. 40 year old vines! Engaging aromas of freshly squeezed lime juice, nectarines, white flowers and flint. Flavours are sublime - fresh pomelo citrus, lemon peels, salty minerals and tangy fresh green strawberries. Acidity is high, crisp, with a mouthwatering lightness. Bone dry, this will be a stellar match with baked or fresh oysters and shellfish. 90 points - tasted July 2018
Deborah Podurgiel - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Such elegance and grace on this Old Vines Riesling from Tantalus. Dry, subtle with lemon/lime zest, ripe apple, baked pear and flinty flavours, finishing zesty with a lingering briny minerality (in a good way). A classic Tantalus Old Vines Riesling produced from a single-block (Clone 21B ) of Riesling vines planed in 1978.
Marisa rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Excellent with fettuccine Alfredo.
