ONES+ Plus Series Red 2022

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada

Deborah Podurgiel scored this wine: 92/100

The Ones+ Plus Red (2022) is my current favourite of the One+ Plus Red Series. Lovely balance and weight on this dry, medium-bodied non-alc. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend with pink florals, red berry aromas, plummy, red berry, cherry and subtle velvety tannins fresh and silky on the palate. Very nicely done! This lighter style red will pair with most anything. So, lightly chill it up and enjoy it with grilled salmon dishes, lamb, or mushroom burgers, or simply on its own. Tasted June 2026. Grapes for this vintage were sourced from Okanagan Valley vineyards in British Columbia. There is zero grams sugar in this wine and abv is 0.5% (18 guilt-free calories per glass) *(*

Solvero Pinot Gris 2025

Typically, Pinot Gris is a pleasant white wine with pear, apple, citrus, tropical fruit and honey notes, and sometimes a kick of ginger spice. Solvero Pinot Gris (2025) has that and so much more. Dry, medium-bodied, fresh and silky with pear, apple and honey notes, it's a spicy little number with ginger and white pepper spice fresh and frisky on the palate. Chill and enjoy it with farmer pork chops from the grill, or spicy scallop scampi, it has the weight, a hint of sweetness to manage both dishes. A well-crafted PG to enjoy now through 2028. Tasted June 2026. Winemaker notes: "Our 2025 Pinot Gris was harvested from Kozuki Family Vineyards and Happy Valley Vineyard at the end of September. The grapes were hand-harvested across five picks and fermented individually. Each block was gently whole cluster pressed to release a lower volume of juice with a high degree of clarity and concentration." The Pinot Gris was aged in stainless-steel tanks and neutral French oak barrels for three months prior to bottling.

Fort Berens Estate Winery Rosé 2025

Love this pretty, easy-going super sipper! Fort Berens Estate Winery 2025 rosé is dry, medium-bodied, refreshingly fruit-forward with raspberry, watermelon, red berry, minerally and lime zest aromas and flavours with a pleasant pink grapefruit zest finish, crisp, silky and lingering on the palate. Chill it up and enjoy! It’s gorgeous on its own or enjoy it with your favourite shrimp cocktail recipe. Produced from Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon (44%/43%/10%/3%) estate grown grapes - Lillooet V.Q.A. Tasted June 2026. Winemaker Notes: “This wine is predominantly made with Pinot Noir and Merlot grapes, with a touch of Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The 100% estate grown grapes were hand-picked, destemmed, and crushed to allow for skin contact of up to 12 hours. After the perfect colour was achieved, the grapes were lightly pressed, followed by a long and cold fermentation. The grapes in this wine were sustainably grown, and this wine is certified sustainable from the vine to the bottle."

ONES+ Malbec 2025

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada

Deborah Podurgiel scored this wine: 92/100

From Drinkones, Ones (2025) Malbec is a dry, medium-bodied non-alc. red wine, fresh and fruity with dark berry and plum flavours finishing with good length on the palate. While the wine doesn't have the weight of its alcoholic sibling, it is a delish de-alcoholized wine and it was a perfect pairing with a baseball sirloin steak grilled rare! Tasted June 2026. So, why drink wine with no alcohol? Precisely for that reason. If you are looking for a non-alc. red wine to enjoy with a steak or a burger, try this Malbec lightly chilled up to bring out its fruity flavours. No need to decant it and you can drink the whole bottle guilt free (90 calories) while not having to worry about any alcoholic effects. The wine is a great go-to if you want to take a breather from drinking wines with alcohol or if you want to slow down your consumption of alcohol during a meal or gathering.

Small Lot

Nostalgia Wines Small Lot Cabernet Franc 2022

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada

Deborah Podurgiel scored this wine: 93/100

Only 100 cases were produced of this small lot Cabernet Franc (2022) from Nostalgia Wines, and it is also a wine club exclusive. But it is worth every sip of it! This vintage is the first time the winery produced a single varietal Cabernet Franc since 2014 (under the old Oliver Twist label at that time). However, after the 2024 freeze, the winery planted an additional block of Cab Franc giving them a total of 1.4 acres of this beautiful varietal that does so well in the Okanagan. From the winery: "In the 2025 vintage we had some Cabernet Franc that was destined for a medium bodied - red blend, but it was so good we decided to hold it back to possibly do another sole-varietal with, after some blending and tasting trials, it will now be in included in the third vintage of an ultra-premium blend yet to be announced." Personally, I can hardly wait to taste that release as 2025 promises to be the best vintage yet out of British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. First off, the 2022 Cab Franc is lighter and ultra-balanced. Dry, medium-bodied, fruit fresh with bright raspberries, cherry, red berry, raspberry leaf, a kiss of pepper spice all wrapped up in pitch perfect balanced acidity that caresses the palate while lavishly lingering on with velvety tannins. It is a classic. Tasted June 2026.
