This terrific, robust Niagara red wine blend over-delivers against its price point. Balanced, elegant and full-bodied: a beautiful blend of Cabernet and Merlot from this Niagara winery. Decant 1-2 hours. Pair with hearty meat dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Samer Forzley rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Closed in the beginning, but opens up with a pretty nose. Cassis, cherry, cedar, pine, oak, vanilla, plums,

On the pallet: Loads of cassis, vanilla, cherry, blueberry, plums/prune

Well structured, long finish and well balanced with high acid, nice tannins. Should be paired with food, maybe a braised beef dish?

Good value for the price.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of black currant, smoke, dark chocolate, stewed fruit and light vanilla. Flavours are very full revealing black cherry, graphite minerals and pie filling preserves. Dry, Medium-Full bodied with lingering tannins. A great accompaniment with any beef dish. - tasted November 2018
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lots of cherry and tobacco notes here, with black fruit skin, a touch of capsicum, spice, oak and crushed rock. A light nose of mushroom after being open for 30 minutes. 90 Points.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of dark fruit, smoke, tobacco and oak. Full bodied, with medium + acidity, and lots of peppery and smoky notes on the palate. More fruit forward on the palate particularly on the finish. Enjoy with grilled meats.
Nicole Lewis rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The nose is greeted by cigar box, clove and dark cherry. This is a fine introduction for the palate-cleansing acidity encompassed by flavours of sour cherry, vanilla and raspberry. A medium-bodied wine with a medium long finish that would pair well with medium rare venison steak.

Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A solid red with noted Cab Franc influence. Some obvious oaking here with smoke and vanilla fully supporting the power level of the fruit. A touch of tannins here but I still think of this as a "drink-now" wine as the overall power of the fruit is declining as always is the case. Drink now - 2020
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Cherry, plum, tobacco, and basil. Tangy and savoury. would go well with herb and garlib rubbed roast pork loin.
Simon Chen rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A nice rich, balanced, bordeaux blend made in Niagara. A bit too sweet for my palate, med structure and med finish.
