Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A pretty strawberry tart and floral nose. This medium-bodied red wine has a silky mouthfeel with a touch of sweet baking spices over tart cherry, pepper, violets and cola. Medium+ acidity and smooth as velvet. Truly enjoyable. I'm for sipping and enjoying this one all on it's own. If you feel the need then pair with planked salmon, turkey with cranberry stuffing, pizza.

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Red fruit and earth on the nose. The yummy palate has red fruit, vanilla, forest floor and earth. Medium-bodied, tart acidity and a long spicy red fruit finish. A delicious food friendly red.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a great value Pinot from Monterey County. Cherry, oak and vanilla aromas with lots of fruit, plum, strawberry and black cherry leaving a lingering finish. This would be a great match with a roast pork or salmon on the bbq.
Astrid Young - Sommelier ISG CAPS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Heavily perfumed and concentrated nose, sweet cherry and bramble berry aromas with a distinctive hit of American oak - unusual but pleasant - juicy raspberry and concentrated cherry, cherry compote on the swirl, with plenty of spice and a distinct peppery note that is almost hot on the palate. Good finish but brings plenty of boozy punch, the fruit is easily powerful enough to overcome. Stay away from spicy dishes with this one, the high alcohol just might knock you flat! Enjoy with venison medallions and blueberry compote, Turkey and apple sausages on the grill or a sundried tomato and basil pasta.
Donna Hargrove rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Medium red colour, strong spice and fruit on the nose, this is not your typical Pinot Noir. Pleasant spice and slight oak on the tongue. With a smooth long finish, this wine is sippable on its own or paired with a flavourful beef stew.

Nice aromas of cherry fruit and baking spice. The palate offers cherry, vanilla, earth and a touch of pepper on the finish.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pleasant aromas of cherry, strawberry, smoke and spice. Light to medium bodied, nice acidity, and a lingering hint of oak. Pair this with pork tenderloin.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Fruit and spice on the nose, sour cranberries, spice and earthiness on the palate. Lingering finish, well suited to lightly grilled meats, pizza or on its own.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Fruit forward aromas (red berry fruit) and steely minerality. Loads of cherry, cooked raspberry, and hints of smoke with a milk chocolate finish. Try pairing this light bodied Pinot with beef-mushroom stew.
Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Rich cherry, green herbacious nose
Earthy dark cherry, medium body, spicy finish
