This wine has lots of black cherry and plum skin, with dried tobacco, herbs, mushroom and a hint of tomato leaf. Pair with roast game fowl or lamb. 91 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ripe raspberry, cherry, baking spices, and a hint of vanilla. medium bodied, with a light, bright mouth feel. The taste is cherry with a touch of raspberry. A great wine for soft cheeses.
Senorio de Los Baldios 2009 is robust with dark plum, blueberry, mulberry and earthy violets on the nose and palate. The wine is from the Ribera Del Duero region in Spain and opens up in layers, each following the other and well-defined. An elegant wine made from the classic Tempranillo grape with a long maceration period. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
