Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautifully done. Medium plus - full body, with loads of flavour. Great value for money. Well balanced, medium plus acidity, medium plus fruit, layers of flavours. Saline, citrus, slight toastiness, over a crisp base of slightly baked green apple pie filling. Yummy. A must try. Tasted 2016 vintage in Feb 2018. 91 points. #ThumbsUp
Gwen Barton rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Very enjoyable, full-bodied chardonnay from California. Melon, fig and apple aromas. Smooth, buttery texture in the palate. Subtle vanilla, mineral and smoke on the finish. Pair with crab cakes topped with mango chutney. Tasted: July 2018.
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Chardonnay is aptly named for the San Francisco Bay fog that cloaks the vineyards each morning. Half the grapes are fermented in stainless, the remainder in oak. Sweet aromas of peach and melon are tempered by crisp flavours of green apple, lychee and oak. A mild buttery finish is edged with slight acidity. This would be great paired with Seafood Paella. Tasted at the California Wine Fair, April 19, 2018.
Donna Hargrove rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2016 vintage continues the success of the 2015. After 5 months spent 50% in American Oak and 50% Stainless steel, the result is a buttery blend of tropical fruit with a hints of oak and vanilla. A full bodied Chardonnay that balances acidity and minerality with a refreshing finish.

Tasted: April 19, 2018 California Wine Fair Ottawa, Ontario
