Dark cherry, violets and sweet spice meet you in the glass, but the bouquet continues to open up with time leading to notes of cedar, eucalyptus and hint of tobacco. Some sweetness noted in the finish along with mild tannins. Medium- full bodied and decent price point at under $20. Paired with vegetarian pizza bites topped with fresh from the garden basil and rosemary. Tasted Aug 2020.

The aromas of this wine opened up nicely over time with noticeable dark berry, forest flowers and tobacco. In the mouth I found dark ripe berries, couched in notes mocha fudge and fig. Mellow tannins with nice acidity resulting in a well-balanced tasting experience. Paired with artisan cheese and charcuterie- delish! Tasted August 2020

Lovely notes of ripe cherry and blackberry. Pleasant finish with nicely rounded tannins- and a bit of heat (14% alcohol!). I paired this med-full bodied wine with a rich, wild mushroom risotto topped with shaved Parmesan cheese. It was a crowd pleaser. I always appreciate a good valued wine- this one did not disappoint. Tasted August 2020.

Ruby red hue with notes of plum, blackberry, cherry, earth and clove. Fairly robust for a Pinot Noir. Would stand up well with braised ribs or a beef stew. Tasted: April 2019 California Wine Fair.

Big and fruity- and wow- those tannins! Cab sauv prominent in this Bordeaux blend. Cherry and forest floor aromas with flavour notes of black fruit, fig and baking spice. Would lay this one down for a few years- then look out. Nice persistent finish. Pair with toast lamb. Tasted at Cali Wine Fair, Ottawa 2019.
