Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Delightful fresh orchard fruit, vanilla and citrus blossom aromas followed by mouthwatering baked apple, pickled ginger and citrus flavours. The palate is rich, buttery and bold with moderate acidity and a long spicy ginger finish. Enjoy this full-bodied chardonnay with herb-roasted turkey and root vegetables. Peter Neilson rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

We had this at a restaurant last night with friends, so a bit hard to focus on the nuances. My impressions mirror Natalie's. On first taste, this is a wow! Nice and fruity, with refreshing acidity, and just enough oak to add perfect richness, and not "buttery". Well-balanced. Maybe a little short on the finish, but at this price, outstanding. The special last night was a small, tender fillet with lobster claw meat in a cream sauce, and we had the Caesar salad with it. This wine was perfect!
Pam Hatton rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Fruit forward in Cali style with apple, pear, butter and caramel on the nose. Rich and round in the mouth with pear and some butterscotch starting to come through in this concentrated wine. A little on the oaky side, giving it some weight on its long finish. It would do well to cellar a bit.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Golden apples, candied citrus, hay, bosc pear and some stone fruit edges. Decent cut and not overly oaked. 90 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Another Chardonnay to please my butter seeking taste buds. Aromas
of ripe pear and honey are followed by flavours of sweet apple and peach with a light hint of oak. Great paired with roast turkey. Tasted November 19, 2017.
