Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Utterly stunning Burgundy from my favourite sub appellation, Volnay. Strikes an incredible balance of purity of cherry fruit with crushed cherry pit, smoked duck breast, red and purple flowers, crushed rocks and a hint of decayed violet. 94 Points.
Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Delicate, if not slightly shy nose that is perfumed with violet and cherry. The palate has an attractive sweet-sour note with plenty of pepper and capsicum. Currently fairly reserved but will open up over time to reveal its delicate floral nature and smooth silky tannins. Try with orange and juniper roasted duck. @wrightwineblog
From the Burgundy wine region, Maison Roche De Bellene 2014 is produced from Old Vines Pinot Noir. Look for crushed violets, bright cherry and blackberry flavours on the palate finishing long with smoky, mineral notes and good acidity for food. Enjoy now and for the next 15 years. Pair with roast chicken. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
