Château Lalande-Borie 2015

Saint-Julien, Bordeaux A.C., France

Jenny scored this wine: 92/100

Deep garnet colour with a hint of brick on the rim. Sweet cherry fruit with loads of blackberry jam on toast. Finish is smooth with a gentle beef stock and licorice end note. Try with a T-Bone Florentine, grilled to perfection. @wrightwineblog

Château Clarke 2015

Listrac-Médoc, Bordeaux A.C., France

Jenny scored this wine: 94/100

Incredible stylish, as per its pedigree, this blend of 70% Cab and 30% Merlot offers great value. Full flavoured on the palate with beef stock, smoked meat and freshly cut cedar and a touch of pine. The tannins are ripe but firm and the wine would benefit from decanting or some ageing in a cellar. Serve with a classic osso buco and creamy mash. @wrightwineblog

Château Boutisse 2016

Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux A.C., France

Jenny scored this wine: 91/100

85% Merlot, gives soft red berry fruit with a floral note while the 10% Cab Franc adds a licorice and black cherry element. The 5% Carmenere completes the blend to create a full bodied wine that is decadent on the palate and toasty from the new oak. Extremely moreish to drink. Try with roasted lamb fillets and mushroom risotto. @wrightwineblog

Muralhas de Monção Vinho Verde 2018

Vinho Verde D.O.C., Portugal

Jenny scored this wine: 90/100

Incredible value and a great glass of wine. Peaches and apricots and a bowl of fresh tropical fruit salad, with a steely clean palate that has a delicate florality. Enough weight on the palate to ensure this is not just a quaffing wine but a delicious wine to pair with food too. Serve with Thai chicken salad. @wrightwineblog

Volratz Trocken Riesling 2017

Rheingau Qualitätswein, Germany

Jenny scored this wine: 91/100

A bright and fresh Riesling with notes of fresh peaches and grilled pear. A lovely creaminess on the palate reminiscent of mango fool. Excellent body and a long finish that ends in creamy lemons. Try with grilled squid with green chilli and lime and a green mango salad. @wrightwineblog
