Jenny scored this wine: 88/100

A moreish, quaffable, juicy wine with very smooth and soft tannins. Full of flavour but not heavy, it is the perfect mid week wine or great at a party. Try with lamb burgers with halloumi cheese and fresh chilli @wrightwineblog

The freshness of this Ripasso makes it stand out as something special. Full bodied and full of flavour but with a crunchy fresh acidity that renders the wine delectably elegant on the palate. The judicious use of oak really rounds the quality of the wine finishing in fresh baking spice and black fruit. Try with pork kebabs with black bean and garlic sauce and steamed greens @wrightwineblog

Excellent value Ripasso and it overdelivers for the price. Its palate is laden with soft juicy cherries, fig and plum and the tannins are supple and light on the finish. It is an easy drinking style with good purity that is ready to be drunk with no further ageing needed. Enjoy with homemade tagliatelle pasta with Italian sausage sauce and fresh Parmesan. @wrightwineblog

Jenny scored this wine: 90/100

A licorice, dark chocolate, cherry and truffle explosion. Full of fruit, hinting on the prune and raisin characters, with a pleasantly lighter finish than can often be expected from an Amarone. Don't be afraid of the 15% alcohol; it is balanced, and concentrated. Complex and aromatic. A wine that will age for 20 years - if you can wait that long, and will still deliver harmonious notes of blackberries, Craisins and roast beef. Enjoy with rich, ripe, gorgonzola, dried fig crackers and salty black olives @wrightwineblog

A big bold Malbec but not overly showy from wine celebrity Michel Rolland. A lovely inky note on the nose, with some perfumed aromatics and a subtlety together with a boldness at the same time. Elegant with a long finish. I suggest decanting this wine before drinking. Try with chorizo, cumin and tomato paella. @wrightwineblog
